Manatee County Clerk’s office sweeps all seven categories in Best Practices Excellence Program

BRADENTON, Fla. - The Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s office swept the board in Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers (FCCC) Best Practices Excellence Program by receiving a Recognition of Excellence certificate in all seven categories.

The Best Practices Excellence Program was established by FCCC this year as an opportunity for Clerks to receive Recognition of Excellence certificates for completing assessments that evaluate the acceptance of certain Best Practices.

The Manatee County Clerk’s office is one of 20 Clerks and Comptrollers statewide to receive a Recognition of Excellence in all seven categories.

“We are honored FCCC recognizes the tireless effort our staff puts in daily to be the best,” said Clerk Colonneso. “The Best Practices Excellence Program Recognition of Excellence certificates demonstrate our office’s commitment to continued learning and enhancement to the services we provide to the public.”

The FCCC Best Practices Committee determined the seven areas of Best Practices for the program to recognize in its first year. The categories recognized in the Best Practices Excellence Program include:

• Bail Bonds Forfeitures
• Compliance Services
• Confidential Judicial Records
• Guardianship Audit
• Marriage License
• Recording Fundamentals
• Service of Pro Se Documents by Clerk
