Manatee Clerk & Comptroller announces 2025 Operation Green Light Event date
BRADENTON, Fla. (March 4, 2025) – The Office of Angelina “Angel” Colonneso, Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller for Manatee County invites residents whose driver’s license is suspended due to overdue traffic tickets and court fines or fees to save up to 30% on collection fees and reinstate their driver’s license at Operation Green Light on Saturday, April 5.
This in-person event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s office located in downtown Bradenton at 1115 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205.
Since 2016, beginning with Driver License Reinstatement Days, the Clerk’s office has helped hundreds of people become eligible for driver license reinstatement.
"Operation Green Light isn't just about regaining your license," said Angel Colonneso, Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller for Manatee County. "Possessing a valid driver’s license increases your time, freedom, and opportunity. We hope that those who qualify will take advantage of this event to restore their driver’s license."
Important Event Details
- Pursuant to F.S. 28.246, event attendees interested in setting up a payment plan must make a down payment of up to $100. There is a $25 charge to establish the plan and any clearance fees.
- Only event attendees who did not participate in the 2023 and 2024 Operation Green Light events are eligible to set up payment plans this year.
- Event attendees must bring their driver's license and case numbers, if they have them, as well as cash or a credit card for payment. Each credit card transaction will add a 3.5% non-refundable processing fee.
- This event is a walk-in event, and appointments are not required.
