Unclaimed Funds List is Now Available

The Office of Angelina “Angel” Colonneso, Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller for Manatee County, releases the Unclaimed Funds list for monies collected by the Clerk & Comptroller in 2021. 

The monies held are from uncashed jury duty checks, overpaid court fees, vendor checks, restitution, and more.   

The Clerk & Comptroller’s office encourages the public to view the list to find out if they have money owed to them.

Visit https://www.manateeclerk.com/departments/clerk-accounting/ and click on Unclaimed Funds to access the list. 

If you believe you are eligible to receive funds, you need to contact Clerk’s Accounting by email at clerkaccounting@manateeclerk.com or by phone at (941) 741-4068 to learn what steps you need to take to claim your funds. 

The filing deadline for unclaimed funds is September 1, 2023. 

In total, $52,539.65 in unclaimed funds will be declared forfeited and transferred to the fine and forfeiture fund if not claimed by the filing deadline.
