Notice Regarding Book/Page Numbers in the Manatee County Clerk’s Official Records
Beginning January 1, 2020, the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller will no longer assign Book and Page numbers to documents recorded in Official Records. The Clerk will continue assigning consecutive Instrument Numbers as the official register numbers to reflect the order in which documents have been recorded. For historical purposes, documents recorded prior to January 1, 2020, will remain indexed and searchable by Book and Page. If you create or use forms that reference Book and Page numbers, you should modify those forms to capture or reference Instrument Numbers for any documents recorded on or after January 1, 2020. Recorded plat maps will continue to receive Book and Page numbers.

Announcement recognizing Clerk Colonneso for serving as treasurer

Florida Clerks Thank Angel Colonneso

Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers would like to thank the Honorable Angelina "Angel" Colonneso, Esq. for serving as the 2018/2019 Treasurer. In this role, Clerk Colonneso oversees the association's financial reporting and provides crucial fiscal oversight.

Clerk Colonneso's service to FCCC includes serving as the Chair of the Communications Committee and the Clericus Workgroup, as the Vice-Chair of the Education Committee, and on multiple Best Practice Committees, the Strategic Planning Committee, the Legislative Committee, and the Clerk Partners Committee. She has also presented at several conferences and the New Clerk Academy.

In addition, Clerk Colonneso's experience includes nearly 30 years of public service to Manatee County, with 15 years of service to the Clerk's office. As Clerk and Comptroller for Manatee County, Angel oversees a staff of 240 employees.
