TYLER TECHNOLOGIES INCREASES PRESENCE IN FLORIDA WITH ODYSSEY COURTS SYSTEM CONTRACT WITH MANATEE COUNTY

March 29, 2006 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed a contract with Manatee County, Florida for Tyler's Odyssey Courts system. The contract, which is valued at approximately $1.8 million, includes software licenses, professional services and maintenance and support.

Odyssey is Tyler's new generation Web-based court case management solution for the state and local government market. Under this contract, Tyler will implement the Odyssey case management software in the criminal, civil and traffic courts in Manatee County. The system includes electronic document management for all court documents filed in these cases, judicial assignment and scheduling, and management and assessment of court fines and fees.

Manatee County is the fourth Florida county to adopt Tyler's Odyssey software to manage its court cases, joining Lee, Monroe and Miami-Dade counties. With a population of approximately 300,000, Manatee County is the 17th largest county in the state. The city of Bradenton is the largest city in Manatee County, which is located on Florida's Gulf Coast, just south of Tampa.

"This latest contract with Manatee County further strengthens our presence in the Florida courts market," said Glenn Smith, Executive Vice President of Tyler Technologies. "We are committed to serving Florida counties with unmatched domain expertise and leading-edge technology, and our success is evidenced by the positive references from our current Odyssey customers in the state and throughout the country."
