Guided Tours

If you come to the park between October and May from 9:30 A.M. until 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, there are volunteers to escort you through the park. In the summer or at times when volunteers are not available, You can take a self-guided tour of the park using our park guidebook. Large groups are asked to call and make arrangements for a tour in advance.

School Tours

Our school program is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. from October through April. Each day has a different theme and children only visit part of the park during their visit. Schoolteachers must make a reservation in advance for their class to visit the park by calling 941-741-4075. The maximum number of children we can accommodate each day is 60. We book up very quickly so teachers are urged to make their reservation early in the school year.
