Either party interested in settling a child support
case that we are handling in our office should contact the case
manager assigned to the case. The best time to settle your case
is immediately after receiving your court papers or notice of
hearing. Our Legal staff will not negotiate directly with non-custodial
parents but will confer with custodial parents as to the reasonableness
of any settlement proposal. Cases may be settled at any time prior
to the day of the final court hearing. To contact the case manager,
call (941) 741-4039 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon,
Monday through Friday.
