Reporting Changes

Back to CSE

Whether you are paying or receiving child support, it is very important that you keep our office informed of your current address. If you have changed your address or phone number, please notify us in writing. We will need your new address and new daytime telephone number. Please include your name, social security number and the name of the other party on your case on all correspondence to ensure that changes are made on the correct case.

For custodial parents who are owed support, you should be aware that child support checks are not forwarded by the Post Office. If you move, you should notify our office of your new address immediately to ensure payments are mailed to the correct address. Additionally, even if you are not currently receiving the support due to you, our enforcement actions may result in future payments, which will not get to you if your current address is not provided.

For non-custodial parents who owe a duty of support, your court order directs you to report changes of address and/or employment, in writing, to the Child Support Depository of the Clerk's Office within 7 days. Failure to do so may cause you not to receive notices of pending enforcement actions that could negatively affect you, such as driver's license suspension, liens, judgments which accrue interest, court hearings, etc.

Other changes we need to know are a change in your name and/or marital status, a change in the child's residence, the emancipation of the child or any other change that affects your case. Please mail this information to the attention of your case manager at:
